CINT Volunteer Dmitry invited other expatriates to a fun disc golf session at the Rosenhain in Graz. Even if it might have been the participants’ first time trying out this rather unknown sport, thanks to the great support of Dmitry, everyone soon got the hang of it.

A big shout-out to Dmitry for sharing his hobby with us and doing such a great job organizing and hosting this leisure activity in his role of CINT volunteer!

Leadership coach and HR expert Gertraud gave our participants tips for planning their future careers in Austria. The attendees created a strategic plan to guide them on their career path and keep them on track. It was inspiring to learn about everyone's aspirations. Fingers crossed that you will professionally skyrocket in Styria!

In the occasion of Persian New Year, known as "Nowruz", we met at Safran Restaurant for our very first culinary experience.

Our CINT Volunteer Pouria gave us insights into Persian customs, culture, and, of course, cuisine. We tasted various delicacies and enjoyed our journey in good company, a nice ambience, and a welcoming community.

Kudos to Pouria - you were an excellent host and impeccable organiser!! Thank you all for having spent the evening together with us!

For the first time, our regular's table, called "Stammtisch", was hosted by our CINT Volunteers! Elise and Anuja met with many other expatriates at Kunsthauscafé Graz to get to know each other, have nice conversations, and share experiences. Thank you for stopping by and, hopefully, see you soon for Stammtisch No. 2 in June! And a big shout-out to Anuja and Elise for doing such a great job!

During this online event, our expert Rachel provided us with the most important things to know when it comes to childcare facilities, kindergartens, and primary schools in Graz. She presented the various options in Graz with each of their specifics, and she talked about topics such as enrolment, obligatory kindergarten year, and support for international children.

What a magical evening! Strolling through the festively decorated city centre, learning about Styria's history and Austrian traditions on guided tours through Graz, and warming up with Christmassy hot drinks afterwards - we could not think of a more suitable way to get into the Christmas spirit.

We went on a guided tour through the city centre of Graz, where we learned new things about our hometown. Afterwards, we were invited to the city hall for a private reception and were allowed to enter the city council chamber and even the balcony with a view of the main square.

We thank the City of Graz and the Mayor's Office for their generosity and hospitality. It was such an honour to be guests in the city hall and to get a look behind the scenes.

Very valuable exchanges and strong synergies at our Business Speed Dating for Spouses & Partners! Every candidate had the opportunity to have a short interview with each participating company: AT&S, AVL List, ICS, KAGes, MAGNA POWERTRAIN, Nuki Home Solutions, NXP Semiconductors, Siemens, and TDK Electronics.

We thank the participating HR managers for the cooperation – this event would not have been able to happen without you! We would like to express our greatest admiration to the candidates who seized the opportunity and showed their unique talents during the interviews.

We know that choosing a school option for your child can be difficult. Hopefully, our online event on secondary education made the decision easier for you! Our expert Ingrid Gehrke introduced us to the Austrian secondary education system. After an overview, we got to know the many options for lower and upper secondary schools, with focus on Graz. We learned about the schools’ educational emphasis, their advantages and admission criteria. We thank Ingrid for sharing her expertise with us & thank you all for attending the event!

What a nice day we had with you on our trip to the Zotter chocolate factory. The visit at Zotter started with a short informative movie; then we were off to try every type of chocolate you can think of. There were sure some crazy combinations and all of them were very delicious. Strolling through the surrounding park and zoo was perfect after the sugar rush. A savoury Bretteljause with traditional Styrian cold cuts and cheese with a view of Riegersburg Caste was the perfect end to a fun day.

What a great time we had at our Stammtisch in June at Kunsthauscafé! It was a great opportunity to talk about our vacation plans and summer in Styria.

Together with Tanzschule Cuban Salsa Graz, we organized our first Cuban Salsa Workshop. Our amazing coaches Danica and Gianpietro taught us the basics of this Caribbean dance and surely inspired us to develop our new skills. We had such a great evening full of good vibes, laughs, and lots of dancing. After all the action, we finished off the evening with cool drinks and snacks.

We thank Alix Jeanquartier for the opportunity of this joint event and hope that the participants enjoyed it as much as we did!

Our dear CEO Veronika hosted our “Online Welcome Workshop” for newly arrived expatriates and internationals who have not yet relocated to Austria. Veronika introduced our participants to Austrian traditions, (business) culture, and gave tips on “how to survive” in Austria.

For the first time, we organized an informative event on the process of buying property in Austria and the financial aspects of purchasing a house or an apartment. Our expert Alix demonstrated, for example, how to calculate the necessary cash flow or how to agree on the best loan.

At the cooperation event of Human.technology Styria, Deloitte Styria, AMS Styria and CINT for HR professionals, we learned about the latest developments in international employer branding, got a behind-the-scenes perspective on residence permits and gained relevant information on tax matters for internationals.

We would like to thank all participants for their interest in our multifaceted HR event and all speakers for their informative contributions. We would like to thank Human.technology Styria, Deloitte Styria and Ausländer_innenfachzentrum of AMS Styria for their excellent cooperation.

We successfully braved the snow and the cold at our winter activity event. We had our own private ice rink at Grazer Winterwelt and sure had fun gliding on the ice, having nice chats and enjoying hot drinks together. Hoping that your feet didn't hurt the next day, we thank you all for participating!

Gudrun Graschi from the Career Center of the University of Graz gave the participants of the workshop useful tips and recommended strategies for job interviews. Thanks to simulated interviews and input on self-presentation, the participants are certainly prepared for any situation!

Mag. Markus Reiter from the Styrian Chamber of Commerce’s Gründerservice gave our expats a good insight into self-employment in Austria at our information event. We learned what steps need to be taken and what needs to be considered when venturing into self-employment.

Together we explored the old town of Graz in a guided tour. Afterwards, we had the honour of being welcomed by City Councillor Dr Günter Riegler at a private reception in the City Hall.

We would like to thank Graz City Hall for this unique invitation and hope all expats were able to get to know Graz better!!

In this workshop we heard a lot about the Austrian job market and learned how to best promote ourselves with the perfect application documents.

During our trip at the oldest Cistercian monastery in the world Stift Rein, we learned a lot about its foundation and history until now! Especially impressive were the old library and the wall paintings in baroque style.
After the guided tour through the monastery and a well-deserved ice cream, we went to the strawberry field next door and introduced our expats to the tradition of strawberry picking!
